LeadBoxer improves sales processes with online lead generation using a task-oriented app for sales. Our core service is registering online engagement in order to assist with lead generation/ identification and sales intel. We'll show you which companies are looking at your site, and what products they are interested in. Mobile version delivers real-time actionable signals based on proprietary customisable lead-scoring technology.
As a Rockstart Startup we are located in the heart of the Amsterdam Startup scene on corner of the Herengracht and Rozengracht.
We’re looking for a front-end web developer/designer who knows the in’s and out’s of WordPress and would be excited to help strategize, build new pages/sections, squash bugs, and improve existing content. We also need someone who can assist the front-end developers with (HTML/CSS/Javascript) issues and has an intuitive feel for both usability and accessibility.
At LeadBoxer, you will be a part of the Growth Team and your main responsibility will be to design, code, and maintain our main website. (http://www.leadboxer.com) as well as assist in creating a broad range of marketing materials.
You’ll work with of a team of designers, developer and marketing specialist with a shared goal: improving the following metrics:
- Quality traffic (Audience)
- Trial signups (Acquisition)
- Install rates (Activation)
Our ideal candidate should have advanced experience building or customising WordPress themes and plugins; be able to identify and resolve WordPress issues (front-end/server/database); strong knowledge in PHP and jQuery/JavaScript for new items/section development; expert skill in html5/css3 and mobile (responsive) development.
Responsibilities
- Improve overal design, usability, SEO, loading times of our responsive Wordpress website
- Quickly implement the tests/experiments designed by the growth team using a mix of tools/services like Optimizly, Google Analytics, etc
- Assist the growth team by designing marketing materials including HTML emails, banners, brochures, imagery, icons, audio/video enhancements and other digital entities
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android platforms
- Work collaboratively with manager, copywriter, graphic designer, and conversion specialist to deliver integrated web-based and non-web-based marketing materials and conceptual campaigns for our product/service
- Install, test, and debug WordPress plugins

- Bachelors in computer/information science, web design, interactive media or related field preferred; similar associates degree with appropriate experience considered
- High attention to detail and excellent time management
- Excellent analytical or critical thinking skills
- Quick aptitude for learning new software
- Self-starter and motivator with a strong sense of accountability
- Manages work priorities to deliver quality work on schedule
- Assigns an accurate level-of-effort on any given task and responsible for raising early flags (to manager) before his/her workload affects quality
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, etc
- Hand-code clean, semantic, standards-compliant, responsive HTML and CSS3
- Skills Required: PHP; jQuery; HTML; CSS; MySQL; JavaScript; WordPress
- Working experience with Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
